Why Maintenancing Your Step Vans Is Important

Getting your truck maintenanced may not seem crucial, but it is something you should do regularly. Although you may think you don’t have the time to get your truck maintenanced, think of how inconvenient it would be to have your truck unexpectedly break down. If your truck breaks down, you won’t have any time to have a plan or to schedule a time for the repair before it happens. MAG Trucks doesn’t just sell new and refurbished step vans, we also will do repairs on your trucks.

The best time to get your step van(s) maintenance is before peak-season. Peak-season starts at the end of November and it is when most fleets are busiest with deliveries. If you don’t participate in the heavy delivery season, it is still important to get your truck maintenance done every 3,000-5,000 miles, to get the best longevity out of your truck. Just like your personal vehicle, you need to get your step van checked to ensure nothing is going wrong.

Another important step to take when you own a step van is winterizing your truck if you aren’t going to be using it as frequently. If you live somewhere that gets cold during the winter months, you will need to ensure your truck is ready for the cold weather and the decrease in driving. MAG Trucks will winterize your truck and get it ready for the long winter months ahead and ensure your truck will be the same, if not better, when you start it up again in the spring.

Hopefully, taking all the precautionary steps to ensure your step van is ready for the road will allow you to have a reliable truck for all your fleet’s needs! If you have any questions you can always call one of our sales representatives and they will be happy to help you.

We don't currently have any trucks that fit your needs. Let MAG help you find one. We can search nationwide for vehicles.
