What Does ISP-Certified Mean?

We supply ISP-Ready trucks to contractors of FedEx and to anyone else who needs them for their fleet. Although it is common for us to sell step vans that are ISP-Ready, it may not be as well known by others. ISP simply means Independent Service Provider. There are certain requirements that must be met in order to be ISP-Compliant and to be able to deliver the routes. Here are some of the ISP requirements:

  1. Back up camera
  2. Roll-up rear door
  3. Enforcer lock
  4. Approved shelving
  5. Jump seat
  6. Safety kit and fire extinguisher
  7. White paint (Sherwin Williams #65199 or equivalent) or Original Equipment Manufacturer white aluminum sheet and post
  8. White, chrome, or aluminum rims
  9. Bumpers must be black or from the Original Equipment Manufacturer: steel chrome, steel grey, molded white, molded black, or molded gray
  10. Secured three reflective triangles and safety chains

Those are just some of the ISP-requirements that must be met.
